Peg Bags

I don’t know about you but I just love ‘pegging out’!  It’s so lovely to get the washing out in the fresh air.

I started making these colourful peg bags last year, and gave a couple to my neighbours as gifts to brighten up their wash days during lockdown.  They absolutely love them!

I make them in all sorts of different fabric designs too!

Decorative Bunting

Last summer I decided to brighten up my garden with some additional colour and joy. After all I had plenty of time during lockdown and we were able to spend some lovely sunny days in the garden. I managed to paint my plant pots, make some pretty outdoor cushions and some festive bunting.

The bunting really looked lovely and was very popular, with requests for different bright colours for sheds, pergolas and fences.

Here are a few photos of some of the designs. All of the flags are made from cotton fabric and each flag is sewn as a double sided flag.

The photos show bunting with nine flags, but I’m happy to make them slightly shorter or longer to fit your space, just let me know!

Draught Excluder

A couple of friends recently asked if I could make them a draught excluder to fit their front doors.  They both live in older houses, and shop bought items were just not big enough to fill the gap!

This photo shows one of the designs chosen, and I am assured that it’s certainly doing the trick!

My draught excluders are perfect for keeping draughts at bay, helping to keep your home warm and cosy in the cold months.  They also make a decorative addition to any room and I’m happy to discuss your particular requirements, from fabric choice to size.

Hanging Hearts

I love to make things to give to people as a small gift, that will make them smile and feel loved.  These lovely hanging hearts just hit the spot!  Lots of my friends and family already have them hanging decoratively in bedrooms or hanging on cupboard doors.

They are made using pretty Liberty fabric and contrasting ribbon and buttons.  Filled with a soft hollow fibre stuffing, I have also included dried lavender buds to give a lovely subtle scent.

You’ll see that I’ve also made strings of hearts in the same fabrics  I actually have one of each hanging in the bedrooms, they look so lovely and smell gorgeous!

Look out at Christmas time too, as they look beautiful in the festive fabrics!
